He's the sweetest, most loving boy you could ever want to meet. Gentle, kind, a total love. He lived with children and other dogs and was lovely with every single one of them, even letting the other dogs eat his food out of his bowl! And he is playful with cats! Low energy, never pulls on leash, what is there NOT to love? So here we are, he's less than 5 days at the shelter and on the list to die. For what you may ask? Well, not for aggression, that's for sure. It's because when he goes on his walks he doesn't want to go back to the shelter. Now we think that makes FLAPJACK one smart cookie! He pancakes, stays flat, doesn't want to move��%BD'��%BD|.and no amount of praise, treats or toys will convince him that going back into the place that plans to take his life is a good idea. So sometimes staff have to use a sling, or just carry him back to his kennel. It's simply heartbreaking. And he has NEVER hurt a living soul. This is a good boy people. If he dies, there is no justice. His former parent says he loves meeting new friends, is great with strangers, and he knows many commands like sit, stay, and give paw!
