Meet Ozzie! Ozzie is a 1 year old Border Collie. My 20 year old daughter made an impulsive decision to rescue Ozzie from a lady on Facebook. The prior owner had to post Ozzie because Ozzie was jumping the 6 foot privacy fencing. However, my daughter had her heart strings pulled and fell in love with Ozzie hoping to give Ozzie the best life possible. The current situation is that my daughter's service dog is not compatible with Ozzie at all. My daughter cannot keep Ozzie as her seizure disorder is worsening and will need to move back home. My situation is that I cannot dedicate the time to introduce or train my American Pitbull girl Maggie Mae to coexist with Ozzie as Maggie Mae only agrees with my daughters service dog and that took over 9 months to train and I cannot dedicate as I care for my 87 year old granny full time. Ozzie has been around, cats, chickens and pigs and does well. I believe Ozzie will do well with other dogs. Ozzie has tried to stay indoors, however, it only lasted a minute per his demand. He has never been an inside dog. He is content with his lead and his dog house. Ozzie was taken to the vet and fully vaccinated and has taken monthly Nexguard pills for flea and tick prevention. When Ozzie was first seen and tested he did test positive for Lymes and he has completed the course of antibiotics and upon revisit he is healthy and doing great. Please help me find this sweet boy his forever home for the last time. My daughter feels terrible for making an impulsive decision and understands this is no excuse and has educated herself on how to rescue an animal appropriately. I am in good hope Ozzie will be placed with someone who loves him just as much as she does. You can contact me Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday after 7:30 pm Eastern Time or Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday any time. Thank you so much for your understanding and let's find Ozzie his forever home. Much Love
