About Sienna

Sienna has accomplished so much since our last update: We are now going for walks around the neighborhood! During our walks she experiences 'scary' things like 'peoples' of all different sizes, other puppers, garbage trucks, etc. We stop and 'talk' to the peoples. Sienna observes and will eventually move to the edge of her stranger danger comfort zone of about one foot. Our neighbors are so fabulous! They understand her fears and are very happy to help her. I went out of town for several days not long ago. My son and crew stayed with Sienna. She is familar with them but, it took her a couple of days to settle. Best thing...she did it!!! She has shown a tendency to be a little 'ruff' on 'babies' (stuffies). But, we'll take it because she at least she is playing with toys. Her goal is to get to the squeaker. Haha Which is quickly taken away so she doesn't get hurt. We attended one of LR's adoption events recently, anticipating to observe from afar. Nope, Sienna had a little FOMO and decided she needed to be closer to the action. Although she didn't go deep in, she went close! She also entertained a few visitors which was AMAZING to witness. Last but not least, today she had her first pack 'play date' and actually showed some desire to play. I'm so proud of this girl!!! She wants so much to be a dog and shows me every day her determination to get there. Sienna's wish list for her forever family: - a calm household - a family who will be patient with her as she settles in - continue slow introductions to new people and experiences - be her rock so she continues her path to more confidence - other animals seem to be fine. She has not shown any reaction to cats or wild bunny rabbits
