DEMBE has grown a month older sitting at the shelter waiting for his forever family. That's a month of his puppyhood he'll never get back. It's hard seeing these sweet babies who are just starting out in life relegated to crates in an overcrowded shelter, waiting all day for a short walk or trip to the play yard to stretch their young legs. Dembe was understandably overwhelmed by this environment when he arrived because he is puppy shy and needs to feel confident and brave in a world that is foreign to him. But look at that face. THAT is the face of a puppy. He's playful, active, chasing down toys, pouncing on stuffies and running back to his handlers for a pet and a 'good boy.' But it's time Dembe left the shelter and joined an experienced, fun, active family who will give him a life of happiness and play. And%BD%BD%BD'%BD%BD%BD|.of course%BD%BD%BD'%BD%BD%BD|..more training! While we wait for his full notes, will you please share Dembe for a family? It's time he starts the next chapter of his life - outside of the shelter! What my friends at ACC say about me: I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace. I would do best in a home with only adult humans (Age 13 and over) I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you. DEMBE, ID# 222824 @ 11 Mos.
