About Sonny

Sonny and Sassy were 2 dogs living in a North Florida home along with 35 other dogs. They were sent to Wakulla Animal Services and were there for 7 months and not adopted because they were terrified of people. This is the result of extreme hoarding due to not being handled. The shelter asked us to take them in hopes of becoming adoptable. These two are very comfortable with the 17 other dogs and pups in the rescue. They follow the heels of their foster mom everywhere, all the time, but when attempting to pick up, they run away. They are a work in progress. Sassy especially wants to bond, as she has a bit of separation anxiety and will whimper until she sees her foster mom. Both dogs have been spayed, neutered, vaccinated, and are heartworm negative.
