It has been my pleasure to have this little girl in my home, she brings a smile to my face each time I look at her. I will be sad to see her go. Life had not been so good to little EMMY. I found her running in the parking lot of a church that was distributing food to the hungry, EMMY was begging for food. Her need to eat helped me catch her as she was a bit elusive at first. Once I offered her some food, she willingly came with me. Oh my gosh, she had mud all over her and looked gray but she was happy to be riding in the car, looking out the window the entire time and wagging her tail. She was a good girl while I scrubbed her a few times to remove all the dirt in her beautiful and soft very white coat. The vet thinks she got a double whammy of long hair mixture in a long-hair chihuahua and a long-hair dachshund. She weighs 16 pounds and 3 years old. She is my velcro dog as she follows me from room to room but not in an intrusive way, she is quiet and non-demanding about it. She sleeps at my feet on a much loved doggy bed. EMMY walks well on a leash but do not expect any power walks, she simply cruises along at a leisurely pace taking in all of the sights. EMMY would be a wonderful and loyal companion who is very low maintenance and she is full of love. Although there are other foster dogs in the home, EMMY strictly wants to hang with me. She gets along with all of the dogs. More pictures are available. If you are interested in adopting EMMY, please submit an application on the website below. www.roxysk9rescue.org
