About TUX

Tux, as we named him, came to us in Oct 2024. He came in a litter rescue from an Ohio Amish Farm. He has severe trust issues, insecurity issues, and high anxiety. We have had him in a house with another male dog, 2 boys, and 2 cats. He took awhile to come around in trusting us, but has settled somewhat. Unfortunately though he is extremely jealous, and insecure and it brings out neg behavior. He will nip at our calves, bully our other dog, and most recently started marking around house. We really love him but feel that maybe the house dynamic is too much for him. He is a sweet soul when the trust is made, and has become my cuddle bug when I'm sitting or laying and all is calm. I feel a 1 dog house will be ideal to help with the jealousy issues,and a non-child/chaotic household as it makes him anxious with alot of noise/commotion. We were talking he is a Portuguese Water Dog, and there has been no sheding.
