Java was found with a group of other dogs in a rural shelter that was was being neglected. She had spent almost 2 full years in this 'shelter' before the neglect was discovered. She was living in a dog kennel with barely any interaction. Every time I look at her it breaks my heart. She is adjusting exceptionally well. I do have to limit her crate time or she would stay in there all the time. She loves walks and playing with her other fur friends! She is shy but not fearful so she takes just a little bit to come out of her shell but we are making huge strides each day!
