Meet Dee Dee - The Ultimate Goofball! Dee Dee is a 4-month-old, 20-pound bundle of joy, energy, and cuddles! She's available for Foster-to-Adopt through PAWS Rescue, Inc. What is Foster-to-Adopt? Foster-to-Adopt means you fill out a foster application with the intent to adopt. The adoption fee is required at the time of approval, and once Dee Dee is spayed, you'll complete an adoption application to make it official. (Applicants must be between Boise and Idaho Falls to use our vet clinics.) About Dee Dee This sweet, loving girl thrives on cuddles, playtime, and naps. She adores her doggy best friend and her humans. Dee Dee is very energetic-she loves running, wrestling with her playmate, chasing toys, and chewing on her big assortment of toys, sticks, and bones. (Keep your shoes and papers picked up, or she may 'repurpose' them!) She thinks snow is magical, doesn't mind the rain, and enjoys playing in the ditch-because who needs clean paws anyway? Dee Dee is all about adventures, exploring the countryside and mountains. She needs to be leashed outside a fenced area since she sometimes gets a little too excited and turns it into a running workout for you! Training & Manners �'ۢ Crate trained and working on leash manners �'ۢ Knows basic commands like sit, stay, down, and off (though she may need reminders or a tasty bribe) �'ۢ Responds well to 'Dee Dee no no' and 'outside' �'ۢ Treat motivated and eager to learn �'ۢ 98% house trained-uses a doggy door and is very smart but may still have an occasional puppy accident Personality & Ideal Home �'ۢ A free eater, refueling as needed �'ۢ Friendly but will defend herself if challenged �'ۢ No chickens, please! She's still learning to be friends with the cat �'ۢ A quiet girl, only barking at strangers, but she warms up quickly-especially with treats!
