MEET NERA!���%8D Nera is a 5-month-old Dachshund/Bichon Frise mix weighing in at just 9 pounds. She's available for foster-to-adopt through PAWS Rescue Inc. (Applicants must be located between Idaho Falls and Boise to use our partner vet clinics.) What is Foster-to-Adopt? You'll start by filling out a foster application with the intent to adopt. Once Nera is spayed, you'll complete a standard adoption application. Her adoption fee of $375 covers her spay, vaccines, dewormers, and microchip, and is due upon approved adoption. About Nera �'ۢSmart & Eager to Learn: Very treat- and praise-motivated, Nera already knows 'sit,' 'wait,' and has a decent recall. �'ۢActive & Curious: She loves daily walks and often carries a treasure she finds along the way. �'ۢPotty Trained: Uses a doggy door and will sit by the door to ask out, though she may forget when excited during play. �'ۢCrate Trained at Night: Sleeps in a crate and will whine if she needs to go out. Loves morning snuggles in bed. �'ۢNot a Fan of Long Alone Time: She gets stressed if crated or left alone for more than a few hours. �'ۢNeeds a Dog Sibling: Nera is very social and needs a playful canine companion. She thrives in an active home where she isn't left alone much. �'ۢKid Guidelines: Best suited for homes with children aged 10+ due to her discomfort with being picked up. She is learning to trust with patience and consistency. �'ۢOther Pets: Gets along with dogs and tolerates cats, though she can be a bit pesky with them. �'ۢLeash & Car Skills: Walks well on a leash (though easily distracted) and rides calmly in the car once settled. �'ۢFenced yard required NO KIDS UNDER 10
