Hello! My name is Shelby! I'm a 4.5 year old Maltese. I was rescued from a puppy mill not too long ago. At first I was terrified of people and I still am a little��%BD��%BD%BD'��%BD��%BD%BD| I used to spend the whole day trying to escape the back yard. Now I go out with my foster brother and sister and come back with them. I'm a pack member and I dig it! My BFF is a 65 point German Shorthair Pointer. I love him. I discovered toys and they are so much fun! I sleep with my foster mom most nights but once in a while I sneak out to the couch. I am working on potty training��%BD��%BD%BD'��%BD��%BD%BD| some days are good and some days aren't great. What do you expect? I've spent my whole life in a cage until recently. I've come so far in the past month! Every day I get braver, sillier and joyful. I'm still learning about walking on a leash, but I'm doing pretty good! I absolutely need a fenced yard, this is a nonnegotiable. I would do best in a home with adults or respectful kids over 12. I think it might be nice to have another dog to help show me the ropes and build trust with my new family. I'm not perfect, who is? But I sure am cute! I can't wait to meet you!
