About Mickey

Mickey is an 8 year old, 18lbs male schnauzer. He is neutered, fully vetted, just received all his shots in April 2025. Mickey is housebroken and will go to the door to let you know he has to go potty. Mickey is good in car, likes to lead on the leash, good with older children, people and will greet strangers by jumping up to say, 'Hello.' He was not raised with other dogs or had much interaction, can be shy, timid with some dogs. However gets along with foster mom's dogs. Mickey may prefer to be the only fur-baby so he can receive all the attention. He loves to play fetch and will bring toys to play with even when you're napping on couch. He loves sleeping in bed with his person. He is also good in a crate but prefers to be next to his person. While Mickey is a very sweet and friendly boy, he doesn't like to be groomed, baths, nails, if uncomfortable a muzzle may be needed depending on the groomer. He is also afraid of thunder and may bark at other dogs. Mickey is looking for a new loving forever home as his two legged sister's allergies are getting worse to include all dogs.
