Hi I'm Winston! I am an 18 month old male black lab mix, neutered and utd on all my shots. About me!�'�|I had a rough start in life, dumped in the high desert during the winter�'�|a nice lady found me and I happily jumped in her truck and the rest is history! I'm a pretty big guy, weighing in at 75lbs, but basically I'm still a puppy�'�|.my previous owners didn't help me learn to be a grown up and build good boundaries�'�| I walk on a leash�'�|in fact I LOVE to go for car rides and I'm awesome in a car�'�|I love water, playing ball and I'm even learning to give it back to you so you can keep throwing it! I get along with my doggy friends, and I've even met a barn cat�'�|I gave her a wide berth because she was mean to me. I have excellent recall, I sit before you give me my food, I sit for treats, and I sit when you come over to leash me (but sometimes I'm so excited we're going somewhere it's harder to stay still!) I'm good in the house�'�|I use a doggy door to go outside and I don't get into things. I'm kennel and crate trained, but I'd much rather sleep on my bed next to you�'�|I'm a cuddle bug and love hugs and pets from my humans. I'm looking for an active family that will continue to help me learn to be a bestest boy�'�|i would be perfect for hikes, running, beach, etc�'�| I am a sensitive guy and respond to gentle instruction. I need a yard to play in and maybe even another dog my size to play with!
