About Star

Star is looking for her bright light in life. A forever home! She lost her home when her dad had to go to jail. She is used to living in a home and with other dogs and cats. The way to her heart is food. She loves it! She is crate trained and potty trained. She would love a home where she can get some activity but then some couch time at the end of the day; Per her breed she will herd kids so looking for a home with adults only. She is a sweet, playful girl and hopes she can find her FOREVER. Please read up on her breed if you have not owned a herding breed before. She has lived with cats but will chase them. Are your cats super used to dogs? Her special needs: She has been bounced around from home to home at no fault her own. From just know being able to care for her to going to jail. Not her fault. With all these changes in her life she has developed stranger danger to men. She will be very barky to some. Treats help a lot but in a new home it will take a few days. She was adopted (only returned due to young kids) and it took a few days for her to realize the man in the was not a threat and she then became his friend. The husband and wife said she was so sweet and the perfect dog when it was just them as she didn't try to herd them, just the kids. Her adoption fee has been reduced to allow for cost of a trainer IF NEEDED. She has a happy personality and is so silly sometimes. She just needs a chance
