About Beethooven

My owners left me outside 24/7. It was lonely, but I was excited that the dog next door was outside sometimes. So, I started to dig myself under the fence to go meet him. He didn't like that and attacked me! My owners came home and rushed me to the emergency vet to be euthanized. I didn't want to die! Even though I was in great pain, when I met the vet, I licked his hand and wagged my tail. He understood my wishes. He did surgery and saved me!! My owners surrendered me and I am now all healed up and have adjusted to my new face. I will never look like I did before but that doesn't stop me! Some people think I look scary, but I'm told I'm such a good boy, won't you give me a chance? If there's any future medical or follow up care for his current injury, the rescue will pay for it!! But he is perfectly healthy and eats, sleeps and plays fine! Neutered, UTD on vaccines, potty trained, fenced yard a must, LOVES toys and LOVES attention. He's never met children and has leash reactivity when he sees other dogs, only because he wants to meet them and play, but is working on training. He's a total love bug and would thrive with someone who is home more often or works from home because he loves his people! He does require his exercise outside and walks,but also is a great office companion. He's the bestest boy and just needs a chance.
