Paper is a fluffy, soft-hearted boy whose story begins with mystery but could end with love-if someone gives him the chance. He arrived at the shelter with no known history, and while he may seem unsure right now, there's a gentle spirit beneath that cautious exterior. Paper is still learning how to navigate the noisy, overwhelming shelter environment. He's best suited for a calm, adult-only home (or with older teens) where he can settle in at his own pace. He hasn't shown us much yet-but he's shown enough to know he wants to connect. With patience, structure, and daily interaction, Paper will have the opportunity to feel safe and start fresh. He needs someone to believe in him. That someone could be you. PAPER 226326 MANHATTAN ACC Estimated to be 4 years 2 weeks old, 48.6 Lbs. NEUTERED MALE, MEDIUM MIXED BREED STRAY FROM NY MEDICAL BEHAVIOR EVALUATION: BEHAVIOR RATING: LEVEL 3 INTAKE DATE 05/04/2025 What my friends at ACC say about me: My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children. I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them. I'll need daily interaction with you as I get used to my new life. I will need daily physical activity to keep me healthy and happy! I will need appropriate toys and positive outlets for my energy. It could be with you!
