About Mowgli

Meet Mowgli (Mowges), he's a sweet, funny, goofy, Velcro pup, who is very treat motivation and praise motivated. I rescued him a couple of years ago from an elderly woman who couldn't manage him. We've done loads of work with him on his behaviors around anxiety and rough play. He's still a little anxious (well controlled on Prozac 40mg, about $10 a month at Costco). He has a mild chicken allergy (itchy ears and paws) that's controlled on a commercial food from Chewy. He's fixed, is cool with male and female dogs, loves a bit of fetch in the yard. He's a little anxious on leash, but loves walks! Sadly, we are having to make an unexpected cross country move with strict housing/breed policies and cannot bring him. We have tried every single avenue we know, and we're down to the local shelter, who may not be able to take him. We cannot imagine a world where this darling soul has to be put to sleep, and I'm hoping some loving soul will find him here.
