Henderson, NV A Second Chance for Otis - Will You Be His Final Forever? Otis has lived a life filled with love, loss, and resilience. He's one of our very first Bengal Rescue alumni-joining us back in 2020 when his original family, who adored him deeply, had to make a heartbreaking decision. They'd raised him from kittenhood, but when their new baby arrived, Otis struggled. The noise, the stress, the change-it overwhelmed him. They tried everything to help him adjust, but ultimately, they chose to let him go with love, knowing he deserved peace. We found Otis a quiet home with no other pets, thinking he'd finally found forever. But last month, without warning, Otis was surrendered to a shelter. No explanation. Just a familiar face, lost and confused in a kennel. Heartbreaking! Can you imagine what that must've felt like? Thankfully, one of our most devoted fosters raced to the shelter and brought Otis back into our arms. She's been showering him with love, groceries (Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried is his favorite-don't forget to lock up the treats!), and reassurance ever since. And here's the beautiful thing: Otis hasn't let any of this dim his light. ���� From the moment he arrived, he was sweet, affectionate, and so grateful to be safe. He's settled beautifully with his foster's cat-friendly dog, mellow cat, and teenage kids. He's a calm, affectionate companion who will lay beside you, help with homework, or simply curl up in a sunny window and birdwatch. �Ϭ Otis is confident but gentle �Ϭ Playful in short bursts, but mostly chill �Ϭ Door-darting? Occasionally (we're working on it!) �Ϭ Litter box? Flawless �Ϭ Food? Yes, please He's the kind of Bengal who doesn't demand the spotlight-he earns it with quiet charm and soulful eyes. Otis is 10 lbs, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has a clean bill of health (FeLV/FIV negative). He's been through enough.
