About Ellie

Ellie is a 33 pound Australian Cattle Dog mix (blue heeler) and is a sweet senior that was going to be euthanized because her owner was sick and going into the hospital. My vet contacted me because they knew that I rescue and foster for local rescues in the area. Ellie has been with me for a few months and is doing great! She is good with dogs, will chase cats. She loves walks, toys, playing, and food. Ellie walks good on leash, rides well in the car, and has an amazing amount of energy for a senior girl. Ellie is potty trained, loves snuggling with her people or her dog friends, and just wants to be loved. Ellie will do best in an adult only home or older kids. She likes to jump up which can be overwhelming for young kids. Ellie is also diabetic. She has had recent blood work, does amazingly well with her shots, and is otherwise healthy. She has had a recent dental. Ellie is a sweet, healthy, loving girl that needs a permanent home.
