With a heavy heart, I'm looking to rehome my incredible German Shepherd. Due to personal circumstances, I can no longer give him the time and space he deserves. I'm hoping to find a loving, experienced home that understands the needs of this amazing breed. About Him: Breed: German Shepherd Age: 5 Gender: Male Spayed/Neutered: Yes Vaccinations: Current up until this year Temperament: Loyal, highly intelligent, energetic, and incredibly devoted House-trained: Yes This dog is truly an athlete. He is absolutely obsessed with fetch-it's not just a game. It's his mission in life. Whether it's chasing tennis balls or herding anything that rolls, he takes his 'job' very seriously. If you're active and love spending time outside, he'll be your perfect adventure buddy. He's also very affectionate and loyal to his people-he bonds deeply and loves being part of the family. However, he does struggle with dog reactivity and is best suited as the only pet in the home. While he doesn't get along well with other dogs, he has never shown aggression toward people and is wonderful with those he trusts. Important Note: He did get loose once and got a hold of a cat, resulting in him being labeled with a 'vicious' designation by local authorities. Because of this, it is absolutely critical that he is never allowed to escape or roam freely. He must be in a secure environment at all times and handled responsibly. This does not change his loving nature with people, but it is a serious responsibility his future owner must be willing and able to manage.
