About Foxy

Foxy is a spayed female red Australian Cattle Dog, estimated to be around 1 year old and 30-40 pounds. She does well with her sister. She has a strong prey drive and will even climb trees in pursuit of squirrels. Foxy is incredibly smart, sensitive, and fearful, but she is very willing when given time to process and think. She needs confidence building and is currently learning to walk on a leash. She is cautious of men but can improve with patience and positive reinforcement. She is very active, loves to work, and enjoys learning new things when given the opportunity to go at her own pace. She would excel in agility or trick training, as she loves to climb, jump, and play. She will bark at noises if allowed but is easily redirected with positive reinforcement. Foxy is working on crate and potty training-she knows a potty command well. She would thrive in a quiet but active home where she can receive one-on-one attention and continue growing her We are looking for a foster or adopter with experience handling sensitive or high-energy dogs who can help her develop her basic manners. Applicant must be within a 10 hour drive of Boise!
