Meet Bernie- a Great American shelter dog probably pit and maybe a bit of beagle. Hey, I'm Bernie! I'm a boy who is 78lbs and about 1 year old. I'm super playful and sweet. I'm not shy and make new friends easily. I like to play bow and wiggle my tail to entice you in! I arrived to the shelter as a stray, so my history is a mystery. When it comes to other dogs, I'm pretty excitable I have been a little vocal, rowdy, and pushy. For those who tolerate that, we have become friends and I enjoy play bowing and getting the zoomies with them. However, many dogs are not a fan of my approach. I'm working on my manners and learning how to appropriately meet other dogs. I can't make a lot of promises about my future, but I can 100% guarantee that I will have you smiling and laughing at my silly antics!
