Albany, OR Rehoming George, our 4 year old Great Pyrenees, with a sad heart. He came to us from the local humane society over a month ago and we were hoping he'd be a great fit with our 3 year old female Bernese Mountain Dog, Yoshi. But it just hasn't been. While there are moments of sweetness between the two, George can be aggressive and reactive without warning, which results in stressful moments in our small house with two big dogs. Beyond that, there are no other red flags with him. George is the greatest companion! While he may react negatively to other dogs and cats at times, he's AMAZING with adults, so kind and cuddly and we are not aware of any biting issues whatsoever. A true 'Man's Best Friend'. He loves to give hugs, but is so well trained that he will never jump on the furniture, even when invited. He is totally crate trained, walks well on a leash and is a great listener/very receptive to correction. George is neutered and up to date on all shots with a recent physical 2 weeks ago. He is currently taking anxiety medication and he been since picking him up from the humane society, but has never shown any signs of anxiety. The vet said that once he's settled in a home, he can be weened off. We are heart broken to re home George and our #1 priority is finding him a loving and safe home to live out the rest of his life. He deserves it! ե
