She absolutely loves the water and gets along wonderfully with all the dogs, cats, and even horses at her current foster home. This goofy little lovebug is the total package: sweet, snuggly, and totally obsessed with you (in the best way). She's a breeze on leash (no pulling here!) and a delight in the yard-low to medium energy but 100% full of love. Beanie's all about belly rubs, butt scratches, and giving the best wiggly hugs. She might even try to climb into your lap or gently boop you with kisses-prepare to melt. She knows how to sit, takes treats like a polite lady, and while she's not big on toys, she's very big on bonding. Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. ?3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
