About Ranger

Meet Ranger the wirehaired terrier mix Ranger is an adorable 6 month old male mixed breed. He is a handsome boy with a gorgeous scruffy black and white coat. He weighs about 23 pounds and we expect him to be medium size when fully grown. Ranger was brought to a shelter in rural Texas by animal control in mid May. He is excited he was chosen to make the trip to WI and find a loving home rather than stay in the shelter. Ranger is described by shelter volunteers as sweet, quiet, playful and likes playing with toys. Like all dogs, he will need some training as he learns the routine in his new forever home. He gets along well with other dogs and he loves people of all ages. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. If he does not receive an adoption hold prior to his arrival in WI, he will be available to meet at our adoption events or by appointment with his foster family.
