About Apollo

Great Pyrenees mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

This great looking guy is named Apollo. Apollo found himself abandoned on the streets and in need of some TLC and medical care. He spent almost a month in the medical clinic getting healthy and also awaiting a rescue that could help him find a great home (after another organization helped him start his recovery journey). Apollo is 1 year old and 86 lbs. He is awesome and dignified but also, being an adolescent, has some puppy still left in him which makes him goofy! Apollo is great with kids, cats and dogs. He has been around kids 8+ and we have no doubt he wouldn't enjoy little ones but, keep in mind, he is big, lumbering and sometimes doesn't realize his size. Apollo is housebroken, sleeps out of the crate in his space at night and so far, has been trustworthy in short stints left in the house. For such a young dog, this is good stuff. Apollo requires a fenced in yard. He also would like some daily walks and he would like to continue his socialization journey. He enjoys his weekly doggie playgroup and loves hanging out with the humans too; and, he likes his car rides!
