Rutabaga is not doing well at the shelter in more ways than one... not only is the shelter having a hard time getting her cherry eye issues resolved, but she has become more shut down with new people and often too scared to pop her head out of her kennel to say 'hello' and win over her next new family :( Rutabaga is an incredibly sweet medium-ish sized Staffordshire Terrier French Bulldog mix that arrived as a stray on 3/28/25 with another dog. Rutabaga's Golden Retriever bestie was quickly adopted once available, but Rutabaga has been stuck at the shelter for over 2 months with her cherry eye inflamation continually fluctuating... mostly due to the heavy stress taking its toll on her at the shelter :( HI!
