About Sheera Khan

Sheera just turned 9 in May and is very healthy, youthful and energetic. Sheera is a Toyger breed that we purchased as a kitten from a breeder. The breeder mentioned that Sheera was one of 4 kittens but 2 of her siblings passed away because mom's milk dried up so Sheera needed to be foster fed by another cat. I'm not sure if it is for this reason that Sheera has always seemed to be a little skittish. She is a very sweet and loving cat and needs a lot of attention. We love her bunches but she seems to have emotional issues tied to jealousy with the other cat in our home, having company over, or when she is left with a sitter when we go out of town. We believe this has also led to Sheera peeing in the house, including on clothes and other objects. We believe that if Sheera could find the right home, perhaps no other animals and an owner that could dedicate a lot of time to her and doesn't leave as often as we do, she would do better.
