About Miss Honey aka Lucy

This lovely American Foxhound was fostered outside the Santa Fe Humane Society for one month. She is now back at the shelter. She was reported to be 3 years old, but her trainer puts her closer to 1-2 years. She loves to hang out and play with other dogs, and otherwise sticks close to her people with a very loving disposition. She is gradually learning about the world and how to walk on a leash, but would prefer a nice long run. She loves car rides with her snout out the window. Busy city environments still make her nervous. She is entirely treat motivated and has learned to 'stay' for a treat (one minute). She is crate trained. Looking for a home with at least one other dog, a large secured area for her to run and play, with hound loving humans who understand her hound needs.
