About Minnie

This little beauty is Minnie, and even though she has found a canine bestie in her foster sister Texas (a Great Dane), she is looking for her human forever family to make her life perfect. Minnie is a dachshund/beagle mix, two years old, and the 'sweetest dog ever' according to her foster mom! She loves other dogs - bigger, smaller, any size. Minnie has been curious about the resident kitty, but has been respectful in her interactions. Minnie is spayed, microchipped, house-trained, heartworm negative, and full of fun and energy. She loves toys and is a world-class snuggler, but is also crate trained. Foster mom has worked with leash training and basic commands, and Minnie is learning, but would do best with some consistent training on these tasks. A fenced yard is a must-have so she can get that beagle energy out when walks aren't on the agenda of the day. Her energy might be a bit too over the top for toddlers, but older kids would be great for her to play with.
