About Boone

Hello! My name is Boone & I am an approx 1 1/2 years old & well I am very cute!! I am looking for my forever home. I would like one that has a fenced in yard, a friend for me to cuddle & play with & someone who will take me for car rides & lots of walks! I like going on adventures! I am crate trained & mostly house trained. I am also SUPER SMAHT & pick up on commands very easily. I also can be the BEST snuggle buddy you have ever had...EVAH!!! Well that's all the good things about me. Here is what they call cons....whatever that means. I am not a fan of children & I am ok with strangers who come in our home but ONLY with proper introductions. The last one is a pretty common dachshund trait. We can protect our families but once we are told someone is ok we settle down. They may even get a kiss too!! I was surrendered to an area shelter in the south at almost a year old for 'reasons unknown' Foster mom & my trainer is guessing that it had something to do with a child being mean to me & me reacting. We aren't stuffed animals...ya know! We can feel pain. Anyways, back to the good stuff! I would love my very own forever family with humans I can use to warm their lap (that's how I earn my keep!) cuddle with & a canine sibling to love & play with. Could this be you?
