ANITA LUNA is a stunning, very special, smart, 'intuitive,' blue eyed girl who was surrendered when her owner lost their housing. Although she was an affectionate pup at home, she was at first very frightened at the shelter. HOWEVER, after two weeks, she has been making great progress and is now publicly adoptable! Please watch her movie! She has warmed up to staff and shown what a wonderful little lovebug she is. Unfortunately, she recently was noted to not be putting weight on her left hind leg. When the medical team took x-rays, it was discovered that she has a plate applied to her hind leg, from a previous fracture repair after she was hit by a car. One of the screws from her plate has come loose, the hardwire is failing, and this has caused pain and lameness. Precious ANITA LUNA needs an orthopedic consult urgently!!
