Say hello to Cramer, the 30lb mixed-breed heart-stealer who's got the soulful eyes of a survivor and the chill vibes of your favorite grandpa. At just 11 months old, this pup has already overcome more than most - abandoned as a baby, rescued, then left facing uncertainty when his shelter had to close. But Cramer's story took a turn for the better when a kind-hearted volunteer helped transport him all the way to Wisconsin. Now safe in his foster home, Cramer is kennel trained, knows to 'kennel up' for meals (he's polite but has a food-aggressive foster brother), and is up to date on all his vaccines. He's even scheduled for his neuter appointment on 5/28 - what a responsible boy! Cramer walks nicely on a leash (though he is a bit of a Houdini, so make sure that harness is snug!). He knows some great cues like 'go outside?', 'go potty', and 'go poop' - and yes, he fully expects a treat afterward. ~ Curious about cats? So is Cramer! He's interested but hasn't shown any predatory behavior. ~ Kids? He's a gentle soul who does great around little humans. ~ Ideal home? A quiet, patient place with understanding folks who will let him blossom at his own pace. Cramer is a timid but loving guy, the type who startles at loud noises and might disappear behind the couch when things get chaotic. But once he warms up, he'll claim your favorite chair as his own (don't say we didn't warn you-he's a 'move-your-feet, lose-your-seat' kind of pup!). He's not just looking for a home-he's ready for a forever family who'll show him what it feels like to be truly safe and cherished. From survivor to snuggle buddy, Cramer's journey isn't over-it's just beginning. Could you be his happily ever after?
