Meet Mariah: Your Future Best Friend. Mariah is a 4-year-old German Shepherd with a heart as big as her spirit. At just 42 lbs, she's a petite powerhouse-small in stature but immense in affection. Originally rescued from a shelter, Mariah has blossomed into a loving companion who's ready to find her forever home. Mariah is the epitome of loyalty and love. She's crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is housebroken. Her affectionate nature shines through in her gentle kisses and the way she leans in for cuddles. While she thrives as the only dog in the home due to her alpha personality, she adores human companionship and is great with children. Despite her loving nature, her owners, who adore her, believe she would flourish best as the sole canine in a household where she can be the center of attention. They want to ensure her safety and happiness, which is why they're seeking a new home that aligns with her needs. Mariah would thrive in a single-dog household where she can be your one and only. She'd be perfect for someone who appreciates the intelligence and loyalty of a German Shepherd and is looking for a devoted companion. My biggest addiction is empathy, and it's very hard for me to turn my back on a dog. I've been trying to curtail rescuing, because I was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago. I actually had surgery September 4th, and was in the hospital for 2 months due to complications and infections. When the family came to me for help to find Mariah the home she needs, I just couldn't say no, as I know Im really good at matching appropriately, and it was important to me that she was carefully and properly placed. My goal is to make sure Mariah finds a final forever loving home. Mariah would be fine in an apartment, if youre permitted to have her with no breed or weight restriction, however If you are in a home, please privacy fences only...no chainlink fences. My goal is to make sure I get her the home that she needs and deserves with someone who will love her and give her all the care and attention and affection that she deserves for the rest of her life and be able to be committed to her physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. The best thing I could possibly do for Mariah is to find her a forever loving home where she will be happy ..'Till death do you part'. . I have made the commitment to Mariah to make sure I find her the opportunity to find the right home she needs and deserves. My promise to her now is to make sure I find her the best forever home with one who will love her for thevrest of her life ....an individual or family who will continue to let us know how wonderfully she is doing. Mariah is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm tested, heartworm negative, on heartworm & flea/tick prevention, microchipped (and microchip remains in my name indefinitely for her safety...more than happy to explain) & if u adopt her, you MUST keep her on both & up to date with yearly check ups & vaccines.
