About Luna

Meet Luna. She's back in rescue due to no fault of her own. She's a 1 year old Corsican mix (that's not listed on this site). She's fully vetted. She's dog friendly, but slow introductions are best for her. She's not great with cats and likes to chase them. She's kid friendly. She's been adopted 3 times since January 2025 when she was owner surrendered to Animal Control and none of the families have worked out with the last adopter even dumping her in the streets instead of giving her back to us. A good samaritan seen her roaming for days and picked her up and posted her which is how we found her and got her back. When the adopter was messaged about this, they blocked us so we know they dumped her. She's been through a lot in such a short time and people have continued to let her down and it's extremely depressing and heartbreaking for her. She doesn't deserve this. She's such a sweet girl who just wants attention and to be loved by humans. She loves playing with squeaky toys and loves going on walks. Is her forever family out there somewhere? Due to her history, we will be extremely picky about who will adopt her again because she does not deserve another heartbreak. Applications are always required. Home checks are required. Vet references and personal references are required. Meet and greets with other dogs in the home are also required! No exceptions to this for any reason!!! Located in Cleveland TN.
