About BETTY

Betty came to us from the Maricopa shelter at the end of February. She had such poor dental condition it actually caused an abscess that broke through and caused a wound under her eye on her cheek. She was able to get dental surgery and is healing and recovering well so is ready for her own home now. Her foster said she is a really great little gal and could fit into lots of different types of family situations. Betty is estimated as 8 years old and is 7-8 lbs. Betty is a sweet mild tempered little lady. She is doing well with the potty routine at her foster home as long as she has regular opportunities to get out. She loves to sleep with her human and is a great cuddler but can also be independent (ie is not 'needy' but loves love). She seems to be good on the leash and is not a barker so could do well in an apartment or condo setting as long as the adopter is patient about working out the potty routine. She does great with other dogs but may need work to integrate with cats. In addition to the dental she is also had bloodwork done, is current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.
