Meet Tera, we pretty much got suckered into taking her a while back! We were asked to help spay 2 cats owned by someone and of course we jumped to help them get their kitties fixed. Come to find out one of the mommas had a litter of kittens and we were asked if we could take them, we were told the kittens were 10-12weeks old so we thought cool ,they can get fixed and immediately go up for adoption so we offered to take them in, and had the owners send both mom's and all the babies to our vet to be fixed. Imagine our shock when they get dropped off and these babies are all like 1/2 lb puney and very much not nearly 3 months old. 3-4 weeks at the very tops. %A0 we call the owner back and he 'ensures us' that theyre no less then 10 weeks (no way) he then states he only wanted the calico mom back, and not Tera, mom to the babies. At this point we just told him we would keep her and the kittens. So we got suckered into 7 lives total. Here we are now nearly a month later and momma has recently gotten spayed after no longer producing milk and carrying for her babies (who are still teeny but slowly growing ) Momma is a small cat her self and most likely young. She's sweet and loves attention. Shes been sitting in a cage at our vets office and I'm so sure she would rather be in a home getting spoiled the way she deserves. She is spayed, microchipped, utd on vaccines, deworming, flea prevention and is fiv/felv negative. Im unsure how momma is around dogs or other cats , she is litter box trained. We adopt our kitties to indoor only homes. Being fostered in Sevierville Tennessee
