This is Shanks! He is a ACD mainly, but he is a but of a mix. Shanks is a good dog, that lives in an environment that he cannot thrive in. He was born to work, and we live in the suburbs. We have held onto him so long, because I know I will miss him terribly. Shanks is very high energy, and can be quite the antagonist. He was raised with another dog, and multiple cats, but does like to get into small fights with our other dog (he has been the one to get hurt twice now, once ended in E-Vet stitches) He also likes to chase cats and other small animals, but has never seriously injured one. Shanks would probably do best in a home where he is a single animal, or ideally a working dog! He loves to be outside. Last year, we welcomed our son and he is almost a year old and mobile now. While our son loves Shanks, Shanks does not feel the same and has reacted poorly to being around him. He is also nervous and jumpy/nippy around other children, or strangers that try and touch him before he gets a good feel for them. Shanks is also microchipped.
