Effie is a sweet and spirited 3-year-old Schnauzer/Poodle mix weighing in at 34 pounds. With her soft, curly coat and soulful eyes, she's as adorable as she is lovable. Before rescue, Effie lived outdoors and survived on scraps - but her life is changing, and she's learning what it means to be a beloved family member. Now in foster care, Effie is making great progress with housetraining, leash walking, and adjusting to indoor life. She's even learning to enjoy real dog food over human leftovers! Effie is gentle, affectionate, and gets along well with other dogs. She's incredibly easy to love but will thrive best with a patient family willing to guide her as she continues to blossom.
