About Snape

Meet SNAPE, who is waiting to be a cherished member of his own loving family! Snape is a mixed breed and is currently about 21 weeks old. We had Snape's DNA tested--he's mainly American Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Lab Retriever and Cocker Spaniel, with a mix of others. He's been neutered and has had his immunizations. He's inside kennel trained, has done extremely well with potting training, and is quickly learning basic commands. He loves chew toys and likes chasing a ball. Lately he has been returning it to me! He's curious about our older cat. He sniffs her, but leaves her alone. Snape had a somewhat rocky start to his life. We rescued him and some others from an undesirable situation in our rural community. They and many others from that environment ran wild and were fed occasionally by the previous owner. This pup, his siblings and an older cousin pup pretty much stayed in our yard in their early weeks of life. We took these ones in to foster when others from the multitude from there were getting killed by car or other violence. Snape and his older cousin, Smokey, are pretty bonded, but I think each would do well individually, as part of a loving family! We are older and retired and already have a houseful of dogs from another rescue almost 2 yrs. ago! PLEASE consider adding this sweetheart to be loved forever by your family! You won't regret it!
