COMPACT CUTIE OVERLOAD %BD%9D%A4 SUZIE IS OUT OF TIME and looking for a loving home where she will truly be safe this time. A volunteer writes: Amid a sea of other black pittie-type dogs at the shelter, Suzie stands out not only for her petite stature and squishably cute face, but also because she's likely to be holding an emotional support tennis ball in her mouth at any time, beckoning you to take her out to play. Suzie's zest for life is palpable, and her bright spirit and passion for playtime - especially fetch! - is especially incredible given the unlucky hand she's been dealt over the past few years. One look at her is bound to make you light up, her body often wiggling in anticipation for a walk or a play session in the yard. Her obsession with tennis balls means she can easily entertain herself, and watching her run around the yard with glee makes me wonder how anyone might be able to overlook this fun, affectionate, confident piglet of a girl. Suzie has been super-friendly with staff and volunteers at the shelter; based on her shelter behavior around other dogs, however, she should be the only pet in a home and is recommended for homes without young children.
