About JET

Dutch Shepherd mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

This young girl was brought to MACC by the police after being found tied to a bench overnight. JET is barely 2 years old, if that, so we can only imagine how frightened and alone she felt as the night came down, and no one she loved came back to find her. The officers who were called were able to use food to lure her into a crate, and upon intake she was understandably nervous. But during her medical exam her sweet spirit shined through and she wagged her tail, sought the attention of the medical staff and loved their treats. Still, she is overwhelmed in the shelter environment, and would love to find an experienced family who will give her a quiet, calm, low traffic home where she can relax, settle in, decompress and then open her heart to her new life. Please consider giving her a chance. What my friends at ACC say about me: My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet. I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I'm ready to learn! I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me. I would do best in a home with only adult humans (Age 13 and over). I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets. JET, ID# 227232, @2 Yrs.
