About Lucky Pilot

Lucky Pilot is an extremely friendly, happy, affectionate, and playful, two-year-old, 53-pound, male, glossy, tan and white Pit Bull Terrier with warm brown eyes looking for a loving guardian. Found as an emaciated stray, Lucky Pilot has found a new lease on life with his foster dad who has provided him with the safe haven he's needed. Lucky loves people including children, but can be nervous around certain men. He came into rescue with a gash and dent on the top of his head. The gash has healed but the dent remains. Lucky loves other dogs, but he's never met a cat. He also loves car rides, and does beautifully on leashed walks. He is perfectly housebroken. His foster dad works long hours as a paramedic and he has never had an accident. Lucky is good during bathes, takes treats very gently from your fingers and loves to play fetch. While Lucky loves having a yard, he can easily live in a condo. Lucky is well trained and sits beautifully when asked; he's working on other commands. And, while he'd love to sleep in bed with you, his foster dad has him sleep in a dog bed next to his bed. He is very healthy, fecal-tested and dewormed, neutered, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, leptospirosis, and bordetella vaccines, heartworm-tested and on monthly heartworm preventative. His adoption fee of $150 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. He comes complete with absolutely everything you need to care for him.
