Nothing makes us sadder that a 12 year old senior living out their golden years in the shelter. There really is nothing gold about them. CHARLIE has found herself in this predicament, but instead of being grumpy, she is sweet and gentle, grateful and kind. She loves going for slow walks, she adores treats, and she likes to lay her head in your lap for a pet. In fact, she loves to cuddle! Life doesn't seem to have been as kind to this girl as she has been to people. Her coat is dull, her skin is patchy in places and must itch. But through it all she remains brave and good. It's hard for seniors to find homes when they have to compete with all the younger dogs - and the shelter is bursting at the seams right now.
