Courtesy Posting: X URGENT! NURSING MOM W/ NURSING NEWBORN PUPS. MORENO VALLEY, CA (SO CAL)- MORENO VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL FEMALE CHOW/SPITZ BREED MIX SAID TO BE 4 YEARS OLD and only weighs 40 lbs. LISTED AS A CHOW X, SHE MAY HAVE ANOTHER SPITZ BREED IN HER LIKE KEES? Regardless, she's FRIENDLY AND UNEXPECTEDLY DELIVERED 3 PUPS THIS PAST WEEKEND - MOMMA IS BEING MADE AVAILABLE TO ADOPT (w/ condition adopter can also foster pups til weaned) AT THIS VERY FULL SHELTER- and they all need out asap before pups get ill. SWEET, VERY FRIENDLY CHOW GIRL - ID #A543104 'PRINCESS' AKA 'FANCY'-- PLEASE HELP US FIND A GOOD, FOREVER HOME OR FOSTER & RESCUE FOR 'PRINCESS' & HER ROYAL COURT OF 3 NEW BORN PUPPIES / BORN THIS PAST WEEKEND. Shelter is either looking for an adopter for momma/ who is also willing to foster the pups for 8 weeks and return them then, or we will need a foster for all and rescue. We can't believe someone dumped this sweet girl ready to deliver puppies, but they did. We are calling her Princess and her Royal Court of puffs. Note: We were calling her 'Princess' aka 'Fancy' as shelter calls her. No one came to reclaim this wonderful girl found as a stray. The shelter tells us 'This girl is very sweet. At this time we will not do any dog-to-dog testing with her as she delivered 3 puppies over the weekend. We don't want to overly disturb her while she is bonding with her babies. That said, we haven't checked her tongue. She allowed us to move her into a quiet area and didn't get upset when we handled her puppies.' They further clarified, 'If she is adopted, her pups will go with her as fosters. When they become 8 weeks old, they will be returned to the shelter and made available for adoption. We are absolutely open to a rescue. The adopter/foster does not have to live in a certain area. Mom will be adopted by the adopter. Pups are fostered.' Also, 'Fancy is a sweet and gentle soul - possibly house-trained and impressively clean, always keeping her kennel spotless. But most importantly, she's a devoted and adoring mom to her three precious newborn pups.' The shelter further clarified, 'If she is adopted, her pups will go with her as fosters. When they become 8 weeks old, they will be returned to the shelter and made available for adoption. We are absolutely open to a rescue. The adopter/foster does not have to live in a certain area. Mom will be adopted by the adopter. Pups are fostered.' We have video only in her kennel so far, showing her quite friendly before the birthing, and have requested additional video now that she has had the puppies. Here is the link to video we do have: https://www.facebook.com/reel/707611745189853 If you are interested in fostering for a rescue and are local, or local to a rescue in a position to help, or just need more information or want to help, please contact [email protected] ASAP or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network who is trying to find placement for. To contact the shelter directly IF you want to adopt, and can also foster the pups, the shelter's regular phone is 951-413-3790 and the public email is [email protected]. The shelter listing link is: https://24Petconnect.com/DetailsMain/MRVL/A543104 If you are a rescue group, please provide ID and call the shelter, as well as email [email protected] to inquire. We will try to pair interested fosters with a willing rescue group. You may also use her listing link to express interest. She will be spayed for a new adopter or home after pups are weaned. She has no reported medical issues, and is vaccinated.
