About Lyra

Born on February 15th, 2025, Lyra is one of seven adorable puppies brought into the world by her loving mom, Luna. She currently weighs 23 pounds and will grow to be a medium sized adult - the perfect size for cuddles on the couch and adventures in the yard! Lyra loves toys and seems to prefer the pig that makes grunting noises over the toys that squeek. When playtime is over she is ready for cuddles. Whether she's wrestling with a plush toy or exploring the yard, Lyra brings joy and energy wherever she goes. Her mom, Luna, weighs around 35 pounds and is just under knee high. Luna is a mix of many breeds but has the look and smarts of an Australian Cattle Dog. As for dad - well, he didn't stick around, but judging by Lyra's charm, he passed on some good genes! Lyra will need a physically fenced yard where she can safely run and play as she grows. She hasn't started leash training yet, so her new family will get to guide her through that exciting milestone. She's doing great with potty training but, like all puppies, still needs regular potty breaks and plenty of encouragement. Lyra is spayed, microchipped, and has received all three of her distemper/parvo vaccines and her rabies vaccine. Lyra is looking for a patient, loving home that will help her grow into a confident, well-mannered dog using positive reinforcement and lots of love.
