About Clay

Clay is a 5-year-old neutered German Shepherd and has been at the Redlands Animal Shelter since December 20, 2023. Clay is pretty shy at first, but one of our volunteers' favorite dogs. He enjoys going for walks and playing fetch with anyone willing to spend time with him. While he loves people after he's given time to warm up, he unfortunately is not friendly with other animals. Staff at our facility have tried him with other male and female dogs, and he has shown that he cannot be around them. We don't want that to deter people from taking this sweet guy home, as he would be a lap dog if you let him. He might be a big boy, but his heart is even bigger, and he is ready to leave the scary shelter world.
