Cooper came to Rescue when his owners realized that they do not have the time or energy for him to be a happy dog. Their adult son brought Cooper to them, thinking he would be an appropriate dog for an older couple. But they realize he needs a person or family with the time and energy to give him a home to keep him happy and fulfilled. Border Collies love to work and play, they need a 'job' to be happy! Not couch potatoes, in the early years, at least. Cooper is a loving pup, gets along great with other dogs and other people. Smart and affectionate.
