About Maisie

Maisie is a 50lb Sheepadoodle: 8 years old, licensed in LA, female, spayed. I am rehoming her due to big life changes after the death of my spouse. She's a great family dog. She lives with a 12yo miniature poodle (also rehoming, also pictured ) a 6yo child, and multiple family members. She's great with kids, but can be bossy with other dogs in the household. She will do best with male canines that let her be the top dog, gradual introduction, or as the sole family dog. Our miniature poodle lets her be boss :). Being a sheepadoodle, she is often on alert, but she is not overly active. Her bark is loud, but she is not a problem barker. On leash she uses a no-pull harness and can be anxious if big dogs approach- nothing a confident walker can't handle. She loves the dog park and playing fetch. She enjoys going on hikes on a leash. No toileting issues. She did basic puppy training, but if you want a really well-trained dog, you'd have to retrain her. She's extremely food-motivated.
