About Snickers

We adopted Snickers from a shelter 10 years ago, so he is at least 10yo. His vet says he looks like a real poodle and is still very healthy. He is great around kids and at the dog park (holds his own), and lets his 50lb female Sheepadoodle housemate be the boss (PS we also have to rehome her). On the other hand, he caught a mole once, so don't underestimate him. He is older, so he needs some accommodations: He needs better teeth care than he gets now. Right now, we do an anesthesia clean every couple of years. He has occasional bumpy growths from old age on his skin. The vet says they are not a problem, but when he's under anesthesia, we remove them. He feels most secure when put in his crate at night. He would love to be a lap dog/house dog, although he does like to go out for walks. I am rehoming him due to big life changes after my spouse died. He is not in danger, i.e., no one is going to euthanize him.
